Hey Rival Stars community!

This update continues our Season of Style with another of the smaller incremental releases we announced earlier this month. This time, we’re bringing a fresh new look to Barrel Racing with an updated Western Rider outfit.

There’s still more visual content for you and your horses on the way, alongside plenty of Limited Time Events to enjoy throughout the Autumn season.

For now, let’s saddle up and take a look at what’s new!

Saddle Up in the Western Rider Outfit

One of the earliest pieces of feedback we received when we introduced Barrel Racing was that getting the look and feel right was crucial. Western style goes hand in hand with the sport, so we’re giving your rider an updated outfit that better captures the classic rodeo look.

When you take part in Barrel Racing, your rider will now dress for the occasion in a full Western-inspired outfit, complete with dusty boots and a trusty Cattleman cowboy hat.

Of course, the rider is only one half of the look. We know Western tack is just as important, and our next update will introduce some fresh variants of the popular Western Tack Sets already available in Rival Stars Horse Racing.

Together, these additions help bring Western style to Barrel Racing, one of rodeo’s most recognisable disciplines. Keep an eye out for more Season of Style content coming soon!

What’s Coming Up Next?

The Season of Style isn’t finished just yet! Our next update will continue building on the Western look with fresh recolours of some of our existing Western Tack Sets, giving you even more ways to match your horse with their newly dressed rider.

There’s still plenty happening throughout the Autumn season too, with more Limited Time Events, seasonal rewards, and a few stylish additions still to come. As we mentioned earlier this month, these next updates are arriving a little quicker than usual, so keep an eye out for more news soon.

Western Rider Outfit

• Updated the rider model used during Barrel Racing with a new Western-inspired outfit.
• The updated look includes new clothing, boots, and a hat to better match the discipline's style.
